My paintings

I would define my work as figurative and colorful. My favorite themes and sources of inspiration are nature, Buddhas, angels and the Middle Ages. ....For the form, the background is my spiritual quest, my search for the divine. This path passes through Eastern and Western iconography, the reading of masters, the study of different religions and numerous mystical experiences....

My life and art

I was born in the Haute-Savoie region of France, and already in elementary school my poetry notebooks were decorated...with text and illustration on both pages. I was very creative, but my imagination sometimes got the better of me... In secondary school, I got very good marks in drawing, but had little awareness of my worth in this subject. It was with the arrival of music, a great revelation for me with Hard Rock (and yes!!), that I actively started drawing, painting, reproducing album covers and illustrating Lovecraft short stories. Then I showed my creations to my uncle, Bernard Palacios, who, with La Fabrique in St Laurent le Minier, makes cartoons. Encouraging me in this direction, without forgetting to tell me that it's difficult and requires a lot of hard work, I took the Beaux-arts competitive examination in Annecy, where he had taught, and was selected: 2 years of exciting studies in a magnificent setting.
Then it was off to Clermont-Ferrand, where my love of painting blossomed thanks to a team of outstanding teachers. I was also able to learn a few old-fashioned painting techniques in the school's restoration workshop. After obtaining my national diploma of higher studies in plastic arts (Bac 5), I returned to Hte-Savoie where I worked as a decorative artist for 10 years (decorating painted shop windows for Christmas, Easter, etc. Signs, billboards, show decorations, etc.). I also started teaching children at the MJC Annemasse Sud. Since then, I've continued to pass on my skills. I also painted canvases, where spirituality and tradition were already present. After a stay in Le Puy en Velay, I'm currently in Ardèche, where I'm lucky enough to have a magnificent studio thanks to the Thueyts town council
